The NHIDCL Directory App is an android app developed with the purpose of centralizing essential contact information for the organization. In cases where individuals face challenges in locating specific contacts, the app facilitates searches based on criteria such as name, designation, department, location, email, mobile, or telephone. Notably, all phone numbers and email addresses within the app are automatically linked to their respective mobile applications.
For instance, clicking on a phone number initiates the phone app for dialing, and selecting an email address opens the default mail app with the chosen email in the ‘to:’ field.
This functionality ensures that contacts are easily accessible at one’s fingertips.
