NHIDCL and the National Jute Board have joined forces with the shared goal of fostering intellectual cooperation, scholarly exchange, and partnership development. Shri Anshu Manish Khalkho, Director (A&F) NHIDCL and Smt Prajakta L Verma, Joint Secretary (NJB) signed the MoU and look forward to establish a program facilitating the exchange and collaboration on matters of mutual interest, particularly the sharing of Jute Geotextile technology focusing on assisting in the construction of NHIDCL projects and implementing performance monitoring in identified projects.
During Vigilance Awareness Week, Shri Anshu Manish Khalkho, Director (Administration & Finance) along with all employees pledged to contribute towards eradicating corruption in India at NHIDCL Headquarters, New Delhi.
In honour of the ninth anniversary of the Swachh Bharat Mission set in motion by Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi. NHIDCL actively initiated “Ek Tareekh, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath” as part of the Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign by organizing a cleanliness drive at Khanna Market, Lodhi Colony in New Delhi. Shri Anshu Manish Khalkho, Director (A&F), and other officials of NHIDCL encouraged the goals of the Swachhta mission by raising consciousness about cleanliness of the surroundings, sanitation techniques, and changing people’s behaviour in that regard. The market traders association, RWA of Lodhi Colony, also participated in the campaign.
9th Inception Day of NHIDCL was celebrated on 18th July 2023 at the Dr. Ambedkar International Convention Centre, New Delhi. Gen. (Dr.) V.K. Singh (Retd.), Minister of State for Road Transport & Highways, Shri Anurag Jain, Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Shri Chanchal Kumar, Managing Director, NHIDCL, Shri Anshu Manish Khalkho, Director, A&F, Shri PVVSS Ravi Prasad, Director General of Roads, and Shri Anand Kumar along with the staff were present to mark the auspicious occasion.
On the occasion of International Yoga Day, a series of yoga sessions were organized by NHIDCL headquarters in New Delhi today under the guidance of a trained yoga instructor. Managing Director, NHIDCL, Shri Chanchal Kumar, Director (A&F) Anshu Manish Khalkho, Senior officials and staff, attended the event, embracing the spirit of unity and enthusiasm.
A workshop was held on the implementation of e-BG & Insurance Surety Bonds, organized by NHAI on 24th May 2023 in New Delhi to highlight the benefits of these instruments among stakeholders and expedite its adoption. The workshop was addressed by Union RT&H Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari and attended by Union Minister of State General (Dr) V.K Singh (Retd), Sh. Anurag Jain, Secretary MoRTH, Shri Chanchal Kumar, Managing Director, NHIDCL and Shri Santosh Kumar, Chairman, NHAI NHIDCL implemented the e-BG from 1st April 2023 and eliminated the issuance of physical BG to counter the fraudulent practice of fake BG.
In FY 2022-23, NHIDCL constructed an all-time high 1,408 Km of National Highways.
NHIDCL paid Dividend to the Government of India for the year 2021-22. NHIDCL paid a Dividend of Rs. 33.99 Cr. to the Government of India for the year 2021-22. Sh. Chanchal Kumar, MD, NHIDCL presented the Dividend receipt to the Union RT&H Minister Sh. Nitin Gadkari on 28th March 2023 in New Delhi. This was the 6th consecutive year of NHIDCL paying the dividend to the Govt. Of India while the last year’s Dividend amount was Rs. 26 Cr. MoS RT&H and Civil Aviation General V.K Singh, MoRTH Additional Secretary Sh. Mahmood Ahmed and Sh. Anshu Manish Khalkho, Director (A&F) NHIDCL were also present on the occasion.
MoU signed between NHIDCL and CSIR-SERC, Chennai on 23.03.2023 for sharing knowledge on innovative ideas and technologies in the field of highway engineering
On 1st day of 3-day review program of NH projects in NE Region; Union Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari & Union MoS Shri Gen. (Dr.) Vijay Kumar Singh reviewed the progress of NH projects in Assam, Meghalaya, Sikkim and Nagaland with Hon’ble CM & Ministers.
On the last day of 3-day review program of NH projects in NE Region, Union Minister Shri Shri Nitin Gadkari & Union MoS Shri MoS Shri Gen. (Dr.) Vijay Kumar Singh reviewed the progress of NH projects in Arunachal, Mizoram, Manipur & Tripura with Hon’ble CM & Ministers.
National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd (NHIDCL), a CPSE under the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Govt. of India, is seeking and promoting innovative technologies to find pragmatic solutions to the challenges posed in the construction of highways facing extreme climatic conditions. In that process NHIDCL has signed Memorandum of Understandings with prestigious institutes like, CSIR-CRRI, IIT Roorkee, IIT Kanpur, IIT Patna, NIT Srinagar, NIT Agartala, NIT Silchar,NIT Nagaland and NSDC during the current year 2022-23. NHIDCL has previously signed MoUs with IIT Bombay & IIT Guwahati and is in further discussions with other IITs, NITs for signing of such MoUs. The latest MoU has been signed with NIT Sikkim on 04th November, 2022 at Regional Office NHIDCL Gangtok, Sikkim. The MoU was signed between Prof. Mahesh Chandra Govil, Director, NIT Sikkim and Sh.
